Kyrgyzstan, O cially known as the Kyrgyz Republic, is a Beautiful country in Central Asia, lying in the Tian Shan and Pamir mountain ranges. Because of Its Natural beauty, Landscapes, Mountain and lakes it is also called as ‘Switzerland of Central Asia'. Bishkek is the capital and largest city of the country. Kyrgyzstan is bordered by Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west, Tajikistan to the south, and China to the east and southeast. Kyrgyzstan has been at the crossroads of several great civilizations as part of the Silk Road along with other commercial routes. Kyrgyzstan is a member of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Eurasian Economic Union, the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, the Organisation of Turkic States, and the United Nations.Issyk-Kul Lake, in the north-eastern region is the largest lake in Kyrgyzstan and the second largest mountain lake in the world. The climate varies regionally. . In bishkek Summers are hot with temperatures reaches 34 C in July. During Winter temperature goes to subZero for around 40 days and experience a Snowfall Mostly in January.
The higher educational institution is designed to train quali ed specialists in the medical eld both for the Kyrgyz Republic and for other countries of the world, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Nigeria, America, Turkey and Egypt. Doctors and candidates of medical sciences participate in the training process in our associate hospital & clinic.

History of the University
Kyrgyz National University named after Jusup Balasagyn Faculty of Medicine is registered with the Ministry of Justice of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Ministry of Education of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic at Bishkek (capital) Frunze 547, licensed in the eld of higher professional education. The higher educational institution is designed to train quali ed specialists in the medical eld both for the Kyrgyz Republic and for other countries of the world, including Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Nigeria, America, Turkey and Egypt. Bishkek, formerly (1862-1926) Pishpek, or Bishkek, & (1926-91) Frunze, city and capital of Kyrgyzstan. It lies in the Chu River valley near the Kyrgyz Mountains at an elevation of 2,500-3,000 feet (750-900 metres) . Bishkek is situated along the Alaarcha and Alamedin rivers and intersects in the north with the Bolshoy (Great) Chuysky Canal.
Bishkek is probably the place where you'll start your journey in Kyrgyzstan. It's a modern and cosmopolitan city but still preserves the essence of the Kyrgyz culture and Soviet architecture. Although Bishkek is the capital of the country, it stillfeels somehow like a provincial town and it's really easy to get from one end of the city to the other. KNU is just nearby the centre of the city Ala-Too square. It was the perfect base to discover the country and visit more beautiful and interesting places in Kyrgyzstan. MBBS In Kyrgyz National University (KNU)
- The sole objective of establishing a higher medical education university offering relevant courses for students of Kyrgyzstan as well as from abroad.
- It is an extended branch of KNU of Kyrgyzstan which is considered as one of the most reputed university in the whole of Kyrgyzstan.
- KNU is the one and only medical college in Kyrgyzstan which has recognition for its 6 years course(including Internships) in Kyrgyzstan.
- The same is accredited & recognized by major organizations of the world like the world health organization (who), IMED, and Faimer & Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Among All The Departments Functional As The ISM , The Major Ones Are Faculty Of General Medicine, Faculty Of Micro & Macro Anatomy, Faculty Of Pathology, Faculty Of Surgery, Faculty Of Humanitarian Sciences, Faculty Of Obstetrics &Gynecology, Faculty Of Internal Medicine, Therapy And Many More.
- Students who wish to pursue further education after MBBS in Kyrgyzstan may join the postgraduate program in KNU in any specialty they wish to, For E.G. Pediatrics, Gynecology, Surgery, Traumatic Surgery, Therapy, Internal Diseases, Etc.
- Apart from these postgraduate courses offered at KNU, students may also opt for some short-term specializations or diploma courses for the enrichment of skills in a specific field.
- This is also the main campus for International University of Kyrgyzstan (IUK) where other faculties other than medicine also take place. It also consists of the main library where students can get books issued for studies. It also has many halls with multimedia facilities and auditoriums.
- Training at KNU is conducted according to the European System of Transformation of Credits (ESTC), which enables to move from any course of studies at KNU to European universities.”All the KNU programs are approved and licensed by the ministry of education and ministry of health of Kyrgyz republic.”
- The library possesses a unique book stock (above six thousand items) including traditional and new information-carrying mediums, among them there are books in the line of medicine: Therapy, Pediatric, Oncology, Dermatology, Gynecology, Histology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Orthopedic, Etc.
- At this moment there are registered about 600 students and 80 teachers in the library.
