History of the University

International Medical School (IMS) is higher education institution which is located in the city of Almaty, which is largest metropolis, set in the foothills of the Trans-Ili Ala-Tau Mountains and established in 1992

UIB, IMS continuously invites foreign lecturers to teach on its English-lingual and Russian-lingual programmers.

The university consist of high qualified teachers who haveSpecialists in higher professional education and high qualifiations.

The IMS uses the latest equipment that has all the necessary certificates and licenses.

It has Develop technical mastery as well as qualities important to tomorrow's physicians: compassion, communication and thoughtful leadership

To achieve the target of IMS, recently ISM has made an agreement with the medical center ‘’ SUNKAR” in Almaty to study students in this medical center. From 1995 the center “SUNKAR” is a well-known Center of high class specialist in medicine in different profiles. The medical center “SUNKAR” has own scientific bases including own Laboratories own polyclinic and own hospital.
